Mariazell is a picturesque town in northern Upper Styria, situated at an altitude of 868 meters above sea level. It is not only the most important pilgrimage site in Austria but also offers a wealth of recreational opportunities amidst an impressive mountain landscape.
In winter, the Mariazell Bürgeralpe transforms into a family-friendly ski area with 11 km of slopes and 5 lifts. In addition to skiing, visitors can enjoy a toboggan run, Basti's piste, and the winter hiking trail "3 Lakes View."
